SSM Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Manager to join our Respiratory Care Team!

This is a full-time, day shift, salaried position. In this role, you will be working as a Respiratory Therapy Manager over all SSM Health St. Anthony Healthplex locations. There are 5 locations that you will cover including North, South, East, El Reno, and Mustang locations.
Your primary work location will be at the St. Anthony South Healthplex.
You must have the ability to travel to any Healthplex location as needed.
You must be able to provide shift coverage on an as-needed basis .
There are on-call requirements for this role.
The minimum requirements for this role are:
Must be a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner
Must have RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
Must have a Bachelor's Degree (Any Field)
Must have at least 5 years of experience with 2 years in leadership (Lead, Charge, Supervisor, Manager, or Director experience)

Job Summary:
Manages operations for respiratory therapy services. Accountable for the quality of patient care in respiratory therapy.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Assesses the quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, conflict management, and other job-related issues. Oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
Prepares and monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Assists with the development of the vision and goals of service area.
Maintains a safe work environment by following established organizational safety standards. Manages safety events involving respiratory therapy.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE
- Five years' experience, with two years in leadership
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
Rare climbing.
